About Dr. Julie
Dr. Julie Miller is the founder, president of Self-Starter Enterprises, LLC. After twenty-eight years working with over 750,000 professionals just like you, she can spot a Self-Starter at a hundred paces. She knows the ins and outs of companies, having consulted, trained, and coached at all levels and all departments within organizations from CEO to individual contributor. She knows what makes a Self-Starter tick and thrive. Conversely, she’s seen so many discouraged professionals, stifled by too much bureaucracy that they finally leave the organization.

With academic credentials in Leadership Studies and undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Southern California, Dr. Miller regularly gives keynote speeches to corporations and associations nationally.
She has received numerous awards for her business acumen and contribution to the community, such as the Women Business Owners (WBO) Excellence Award; Helen Thayer Woman of the Year Award; twice voted Volunteer of the Year Award for her work with the YMCA; served for the past twelve years on various boards at the University of Southern California (her alma mater); and currently serves as board chair on the Trustee Board of Cascadia Community College.
